Is this KYC?
No. KYC ties a person to a named document. HumanCheck anonymously confirms there is a real, live, unique person, with no name or ID. If you need a named legal identity, keep your KYC for that and add HumanCheck on top, anonymously. If you mainly need real people, no duplicates and no bots, an anonymous HumanCheck can replace the document step entirely.
Does it tell us who the person is?
No, by design. You learn that the person is real and unique, and whether they've verified with you before. You don't learn their name.
Do you store the image?
VerifyYou does not store images. The face code (a template made from the face, used for matching) persists, and we keep it on purpose: without it, we couldn't tell a returning person from a new one, and someone you blocked could come straight back under a new email. We treat it as sensitive biometric data. For exact categories, retention periods and rights, the privacy policy is the binding source.
What if someone doesn't have a camera on their computer?
They scan a QR code and finish on their phone. The check can also run on a desktop, but a phone gives a stronger fraud signal.
What does it cost?
